Circular knits on Mayer&Cie
Industrial knits made on Mayer & Cie circular knitting machine. The patterns of the knits play with tactility, using the natural properties of the technique and yarns to create texture. They remind of the rhythms in nature, hinting to moss in a forest, a stone path leading through see-through water or a repetition of leaves on branches.

Kleurstof
This series of samples explores the use of geometrical inlay patterns in knitwear to shape and resize garments by pulling the threads of the inlay. The collection embraces the changeing and ageing of our textiles over time and with interaction the indigo yarn will color the white paper inlay depending on the way they are worn by their wearer. The blue parts might fade with use showing the white core of the indigo cotton yarn after wear.
