The Dutch term ‘draagvlak’ means the basis that supports or holds something. Literally ‘Draag’ means ‘carrying’, ‘vlak’ means ‘flat’ or ‘level’.

The collection explores the use of 3D weaving as a technique to create self-supporting interior objects that can go from flat to form (and back).
